Though it is not mandatory, a minimum experience with any of the programming languages (e.g. C++, Java etc.) is definitely a plus. Most importantly, passion to learn a new technology is what is needed.

Currently, the program is being offered in virtual and in-person mode.
How long does the program take to complete?
The duration of the program CP-AIML is 16 weekends (around 96 hours). The capstone projects are part of the course curriculum; however, it is assumed that some students may take a little longer to submit their capstone implementations beyond the course duration, but within the course calendar.

The instructors are working professionals in the field of Data Science, who have several years of industry experience in designing, developing, implementing and operationalizing the AI products and services for multinational companies. They have masters in computer science, AI and ML from prestigious universities like UT- Austin and IIT Madras.

We provide career assistance in terms of getting the students ready to face the real-world by conducting mock interviews, exposing them to the proof of concepts, and supporting them to publish their work. In addition, there will be 1:1 mentorship sessions.
What programming languages will I learn?
During this Course, you will learn Python programming language.
What software tools will I learn to use?
Primarily, you will use Jupyter notebook, Google Colab for developing the code. GitHub will be used for code maintenance.
What mathematical background is required?
A basic level of Mathematics is good to have.

Yes, as part of this curriculum, you will learn Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision. For more details, please refer to the course curriculum.
What projects will I work on?
As project assignments, you will apply your learnings to Healthcare, Education, Retail etc. domains with problem statements like prediction, classification, identifying specific object categories in images, extracting text from the documents etc. For the Capstone, a curated list of projects will be given in the areas of Healthcare and Education.
What kind of support will I have during the program?
You will have dedicated lab instructors throughout the program to help you. In addition, there will be regular office hours to talk to the program coordinators directly. There will be other communication channels to reach out to the program staff.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes, after meeting the successful criteria you will receive a course completion certificate.
